A day without rain, finally!

It rained most of the night last night.  We are convinced Spencer used to live in a trailer park before he was turned in to the pound after Hurricane Ike.  Every time we hear rain pattering on the roof of the RV, Spencer immediately runs into the bedroom and jumps on the bed and snuggles.  I would hate to see what he would do if we had the Houston thunderstorms.  Stella could care less.  She ignores everything until it is time to get underway.  Now as soon as we start bringing in the slideouts, she pukes.

Once again, Abby spent the day on the phone with Medicare for her sister.  It seems yesterday's session was a waste of time.  The state of Michigan changed the state run Medicare system in January, changed account numbers and generally created havoc.  Today it went from "we can't help you" to "you are defrauding the system", "she is not covered" to "oh the state changed the program and this is what she is covered for". This time we think we have it figured out.  Of course we thought that yesterday.

We went down to the waterfront and look what we found.
The damn tourists are in town!

We finally got a chance to see just how beautiful a town Seward really is!  Pardon the bad english.

Before.

How successful would a salmon be trying to go up this creek?

Question of the day.  What does "vegetarian" mean in the Eskimo language?

POOR HUNTER!
