Got off to a late start this morning. Spencer decided he didn't want to go with us so he went into hiding. All of our usual tricks to coax him out of hiding did not work. Abby found him hiding under the bed and when she crawled under to get him, he took off for parts unknown. 40 minutes later the little devil was fuming in his travel carrier enroute the RV.
Got on the road by 10:45. Stopped at Buc-ees for some sandwiches and look what we found. Why drive 5000 miles to Alaska to see bears when they are here in Texas.
Arrived in Grapevine Texas at the Vineyards RV park. Very nice park on a lake. We are parked on the lake with a great sunset coming. Induced us to open a bottle of wine and enjoy lakeside view.
Abby wants to stay another day.
Tomorrow we are headed to Vernon, Texas with a stop at the Cabela's superstore in Fort Worth. Buy their stock.
